Breast Cancer Screening | Awareness campaign
Octobre Rose - Par tous les seins, faites-vous dépister!
I created illustrations for the Association pour le dépistage du cancer BEJUNE, commissioned by the Fondation O2, for a breast cancer screening campaign, a subject that is particularly close to my heart. The illustrations were produced on small mirrors and on postcards and posters distributed in various places and to gynecologists in the region as part of the breast cancer screening campaign.
The first illustration refers to the famous painting "The Birth of Venus" by the Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli. An emblematic female figure from Roman mythology, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, surrounded by the pink ribbon, symbol of the fight against breast cancer.
The second illustration is a personalised representation of the Three Graces from Greek mythology, engaged in a rhythmic dance and embodying all women and all breasts.
